Coopers Lane PTAWe are organising some 5-a-side football sessions at Goals for parents and carers who fancy a chance to exercise and socialise with other parents. There will be a small subs fee to cover pitch etc.

The order deadline for Year 6 Leaver Hoodies has now passed and we will be placing our order with the supplier next week.

We raised over £400 that will go towards the OPAL playground redevlopment.
This year’s summer fair will be held on 22nd June. It’s the biggest event of the school year, with performances, arts and crafts, food stalls, drinks, inflatables – and of course loads of games for the kids.
It’s also really important for the school. Last year it raised over £5,000 – which then helped fund things like new laptops to be used in class, books, equipment for the forest school, and the renovation of the garden.
But we can’t do this without your help. If we can get 50 people each doing one shift – not the whole afternoon! – we can make everything run smoothly, ensure that the kids have a great time and raise loads of much needed money for the school. If fewer people sign up, we’ll have to scale everything back, which would be a real shame.

The PTA will hold its first meeting of the year on 4th October 2023 at 7.45pm.
We will be welcoming new parents, explaining what the PTA does and outlining our plans for the year. Drinks and pizza will be provided.
The meeting will be held at School, in the Gym – but with online access available.

It’s one small step for the Coopers Lane mini astronauts, one giant leap for.. hang on, is that a rocket powered tube train?
Yes, after four weeks of walking, cycling, wheeling and scooting, the results are in – and our mini-astronauts have collectively made it to the moon and back five times!
But which classes got to the moon’s surface using their own active travel alone? And which will win the prize for most active in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2?
